(What is our purpose?)
(a) To provide Information, Support and Counselling to people with cancer and thereby help them develop a cancer program relevant to their particular needs;
(b) To promote freedom of choice in therapies for cancer and other degenerative diseases;
(c) To encourage people with cancer to take control of their life;
(d) To support therapies that do no harm.
Committee members provide their services on a voluntary basis and are appointed in accordance with the CISS Constitution on the basis of specific skill sets, to maximise the organisation’s ability to support individuals diagnosed with cancer.
