Dr Gareth Fletcher

Dr Gareth Fletcher is from Birmingham in the UK on a 4 year Visa.   

Gareth gained his B.Sc. in Sports & Exercise Science at Loughborough University in the UK east midlands; a M.Sc. in Human Nutrition at the University of Glasgow; and his Ph.D. at the University of Birmingham with a thesis on Dietary Influences on Exercise Metabolism, Health and Endurance Performance. 

He has a fairly diverse experience including lecturing at the University of Primorska (Koper, Slovenia) as part of a M.Sc. course on Applied Kinesiology; designing clinical trial protocols and statistical analysis for GlaxoSmithKline, managing a ski resort in the Swiss alps and leading clinical trial work and developing study protocols at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research /St Vincent’s Clinical School at UNSW.
